October 20th 2017 One Happy Newsletter

October 20th 2017 One Happy Newsletter The One Happy Podcast NewsletterA little bit of sunshine delivered to your inbox every week.  Hi there everyone! This is one of those day late editions of the newsletter because this week has been filled with pre-vacation errands that needed to be run.  I'm sure you all know how hectic things get right before a trip, but the payoff is always worth it.  Later on today I will be driving up to Newark to fly out Sunday morning but first I should probably pack lol.  But before I do that I wanted to get this newsletter out, especially because it was already 75% done.  I hope you enjoy it and I will be seeing you in Aruba. Thanks, Aruba Curt Robinson   So last week I followed up the question about how late you stay up on vacation with a question about how early you rise.  Oddly enough there was a different mix of people answering each which made it nearly impossible to nail down if the obvious conclusion that early risers go to bed early and vice versa is true.  Some did respond to both and conventional wisdom seems to be in full effect so we will just roll with that.  Here are the results to last weeks question of "How early you wake on up vacation" nearly 60 % of you wake up between 6-8am.  25% wake up between 5 and 6 am15% wake up between 8 and 10 ama few of you wake up prior to 5 am   It doesn't surprise me that the majority of vacations wake up between 6-8am as I also fall into that category even with not going to bed until well after midnite.  What does surprise is how few wake up before 5am.  I expected that number to be much larger. From reading the Facebook groups and hearing the horror stories you'd think resort guests have to get up at 3 am to get a chair.  I guess those stories like most other things you read on the net are greatly exaggerated.  Thanks for setting the record straight. How early do you get to the airport when departing from Aruba?A. more than 3 hoursB. 2 to 3 hours earlyC. 1 to 2 hours earlyD. I am completely insane and cut it embarrassingly close    What is in store for Episode 98 of One Happy Podcast? Episode 98 of One Happy Podcast will be a multi-part show that spans the entirety of this Aruba vacation.  I am doing it this way partially because they are likely to be shorter than the usual full-blown episodes and partially because I am stalling until I can get something cool set up for episode 100 lol.  How's that for full disclosure?  Hey, I am nothing if not honest.  I have a couple of ideas in mind, I just need to pick the one that will do the occasion justice.  In the meantime check out Onehappypodcast.com to check out all of the episode 98s which should start being posted Monday.  Also be sure to pay attention to Facebook for the most up to date play by play of the trip as I will be over-sharing there.  You can do so by liking the Facebook page or by joining the Friends of One Happy Podcast Facebook group. I will also be posting photos on Instagram so you may want to follow that as well.     Click Here to Visit One Happy Podcast    Friends of One Happy Podcast:3rd Anniversary Party When: October 24, 2017 | 7:00 P.M.Where: Legends Pub | L.G.
